A standout example of the new wave of Prosecco, Flora comes from Col di Luna, a small family estate in the hills of Vittorio Veneto at the foot of the Dolomites. The winery focuses on organic farming and low intervention winemaking, often working through the FUSO project to bring expressive, everyday Italian wines to a wider audience.
Unlike much of Prosecco, which leans toward a softer, slightly sweet style, Flora is bottled as a true Brut, meaning it is very dry with minimal residual sugar.
Made from 100 percent glera, it shows fresh notes of green apple, Asian pear, and wildflowers, with a light, energetic mousse. The palate is crisp and clean, with a subtle alpine character and a refreshing, mineral edge that keeps it lively and easy to drink.
A bright, unfussy sparkling wine that overdelivers for the category, perfect as an aperitif or alongside crudo, vegetables, or simple, salty snacks.
