Chateau la Peyre Par Nature 2022
A fresh, modern take on Bordeaux from a small family run estate with deep roots in Entre-Deux-Mers. Château La Peyre has been in the same family since 1879, and today is led by Fabien La Peyre, a fifth generation grower who has been farming the vineyards since 2011.
Fabien represents a new wave in Bordeaux, shifting the estate toward organic farming and a more holistic approach that includes polyculture and biodiversity. The 2022 vintage marks the first fully organic release, made with a low intervention mindset to highlight purity and energy.
Bright red and black fruit lead the way, with notes of plum, blackberry, and currant alongside soft floral tones, a touch of cedar, and gentle earth. The palate is medium bodied with polished tannins and lively acidity, giving it structure while staying easy to drink.
An energetic, unfussy Bordeaux that feels both thoughtful and approachable, perfect with roast chicken, grilled meats, or a simple cheese board.
