From a true purist and highly respected natural wine maker based in Cornas, northern Rhone Valley, this is not your typical mass produced Cotes du Rhone. For this wine, a striking deep red hue sets the tone. On the nose, it’s expressive and floral, with a hint of spice and underlying minerality. The palate is fresh and fruit-forward, finishing long with vibrant fruit and a touch of crunch. A blend of 60% grenache and 40% syrah sourced from two growers in Séguret and Tulette. Made from purchased, destemmed fruit, the wine undergoes a 2–3 week fermentation with wild yeasts and gentle pumpovers. Aged 9–10 months primarily in concrete and stainless steel (90–95%), with a small portion (5–10%) in used oak casks. Unfiltered and bottled in two lots, June and July following harvest. Certified organic.
