Made from 100% gamay grown on granite-rich soils in the Beaujolais appellation, Domaine du Crêt de Bine Bio Addict 2022 expresses a fresh, vibrant side of southern Beaujolais. The 2022 vintage offers bright dark cherry and red fruit aromas with a hint of spice on the finish, supported by lively acidity and a juicy, easy-drinking palate - perfect for casual meals or lighter fare served slightly chilled.

The wine is harvested entirely by hand and vinified in the traditional Beaujolais style using indigenous yeasts, with minimal sulfur added at bottling - reflecting a natural, biodynamic approach that prioritizes purity of fruit and sense of place.

Since long before Bio Addict was conceived, Domaine du Crêt de Bine has been a family-run estate in the village of Sarcey, farmed biodynamically and organically by François and Marie-Thérèse Subrin alongside their children Florence Subrin Dodille and Geoffroy Subrin. Their 5 hectares of Gamay - often planted densely and on granite and granitic sand - produce wines that challenge the notion that southern Beaujolais can’t achieve intensity and complexity on par with more heralded vintages further north.

For the Subrins, biodynamic farming isn’t just a method - it’s a philosophy that nurtures vineyard health and highlights the minerality and freshness of their terroir, yielding wines that are expressive, balanced, and deeply connected to their rugged hillside home.
