Foradori Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco 2024 comes from one of Italy's most influential estates. Based in Trentino, Elisabetta Foradori helped pioneer biodynamic farming in Italy and transformed her family's winery into a benchmark for terroir driven, low intervention wines. While best known for reviving teroldego, Foradori has also become renowned for expressive white wines that combine tradition, texture, and remarkable minerality.

Fontanasanta is made from 100% manzoni bianco, a crossing of riesling and pinot bianco developed in northern Italy during the 1930s. The grapes come from clay limestone vineyards in the hills above Trento, where the combination of elevation and cool alpine influences helps preserve freshness and aromatic complexity.

The wine is farmed biodynamically, harvested by hand, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. After a brief period of skin contact, it is aged in neutral acacia barrels for about seven months, adding texture and complexity without imparting overt oak character. The wine is bottled with minimal intervention, reflecting Foradori's commitment to purity and site expression.

The 2024 vintage offers layers of peach, pear, citrus peel, white flowers, honey, and wet stone, with a distinctive saline mineral character running through the palate. Richly textured yet vibrant, it balances orchard fruit and subtle spice with bright acidity and a long, savory finish. While approachable now, Fontanasanta has a reputation for developing additional complexity with a few years in bottle.
