Also known as Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. One of the world’s oldest grape varieties, moscato originated in Greece but is now best known in Italy. The best of these wines come from Moscato d’Asti. It’s fragrant, with peach, orange blossom, and honey notes. It’s one of the few grapes that actually smells like fresh grapes!
